Online home bodyweight programme.

In reply to the recent government advice and in an attempt to aid in client well-being and health, as of Monday 28th I shall be offering an online home bodyweight programme service, this will be in the form of a home based weekly session plan, with the aim of someone to be training two to fours times per week.

All sessions will be personalised to the individual, progressive with the use of the general RPE scale, and bodyweight to allow for full inclusion and safety without the supervision of a coach.

The cost for this service will be £20 per week with advanced payment and will include the following:

2 x Personalised sessions.

1 x Exercise record sheet.

1 x Links to a comprehensive, on-going, exercise library with 250+ exercises.

1 x Links to further exercise advice and guidance.

1 x Video catch-up per week

As ever, full open communication will be given, but as below please employ self-evaluation and general good judgment when adopting the plan.

Unlike other online platforms it is important for me to design a programme that you like and can follow. The best routine is the one with which you’ll be most consistent, with that said I will also expect full transparency with exercise selection, if you don’t like or cant perform a movement please let me know.

As we know it is critical to have a plan in place when embarking on a training regime, but you never have to stick rigidly to the programme under all circumstances. It is perfectly fine to stray from the planned routine and make adjustments based on what your body is telling you. By being fluid and auto regulating your workouts you’ll see greater progress because no programme can predict your physical and mental status every day. Too many factors are at play to allow for an accurate estimation. For example, the quality and quantity of sleep you had the night before, how much stress you’ve endured that day, and your level of recovery from the previous weeks training can all impact how you perform in a given training session.

With that being said, please do auto regulate, if you’re feeling beat up, back off and take it easy for a session. If you’re feeling extra motivated, feel free to perform an extra set or two. If a certain exercise doesn’t feel right, then omit it for the day. Feel free to adjust the intensity, volume, exercise selection, and other variables when you train based on how you feel, but don’t feel compelled to stray simply for the sake of straying. It’s also perfectly fine to stick to the plan to a T as long as the session feels right.

At the end of each week we will review the programme and assess the returned exercise record sheet, from here we can progress/regress or simply advance movements forward to allow for continual adaptive overload and lineal gains in fitness.
