Rest/Recovery
Within our current society rest/recovery is at an all time low, we are on the go from morning to night not allowing for any downtime throughout the day.
The recent study taken place at Durham University shows that a large percentage of us feel contestant stress and high levels of fatigue. Link below:
5 Ways to increase REST/RECOVERY:
1. Reduce time spent on social media.
2. Get outside and leave your phone at home.
3. Have a night time routine, go to be at the same time and switch off all technology at least one hour before sleep.
4. Be content with your own company.
5. Switch up your diet, increase water intake and reduce stimulant consumption.
