Internal Heart Rate Monitor
Little do most people who exercise know we as humans have a very accurate internal heart rate monitor, the 'Borg Scale', using the numbers 6-20 a client can quite easily and accurately give you a rate of perceived exertion which in turn can be calculated into heart rate i.e. 16 being 160BPM.
6 - no exertion at all
7 -
8 - extremely light
9 - very light
10 -
11 - light
12-
13 - somewhat hard
14 -
15 - hard/heavy
16 -
17 - very hard
18 -
19 - extremely hard
20 - maximal effort
