049 Technique Vs Intensity

Technique Vs Intensity.

Within training and working with a client there is always a natural intensity ceiling point, this is the moment of which the individual is working at a maximum intensity whilst still maintaining correct mechanics and technique.

As a personal trainer it important to understand this idea to allow for progression and adaptation but also to be sure that the client in hand is safe and free from injury.

If the individual in question starts to lose technique or form as a fitness coach itis your job to bring the intensity back to a level of which encourages correct mechanics for the exercise in case.

However, if you are overly cautious trying to make every repetition perfect thenthe intensity level will also be hindered and as above progression will not be made.

So to conclude, push yourself but be honest, once your form, technique or mechanics starts to crumble bring the workload back to a level and progress onwards.
